The World Affairs Council - Jordan

The World Affairs Council is to promote a deeper understanding of international issues as well as Jordan’s role in a changing world by providing members with a national forum for informed discussion, analysis and debate. World Affairs Council provides a climate for accessing new, distinctive ideas and cultural perspectives.

The Objective

• Help people relate their local concerns to global issues
• Empower members to participate in the national debate on domestic and world affair and undertake informed choices
• Encourage strategic alliance and cooperative programs with similar regional and international organizations.

تعمل جمعية الشؤون الدولية على تعميق الفهم في الشؤون العالمية وتوضيح دور الاردن في عالم متغير من خلال تزويد الاعضاء بمنتدى وطني للحوار والتحليل والنقاش الهادف. تؤمن الجمعية البيئة التي تسمح باستيعاب الافكار والقناعات الثقافية الجديدة والمميزة.

الأهداف

• مساعدة المواطنين على ربط همومهم المحلية مع القضايا الدولية.

• تعزيز قدرة الاعضاء على المساهمة في الحوار الوطني حول القضايا المحلية والدولية ليتمكنو من تبني خيارات مدروسة

• تشجيع التحالفات الاستراتيجية والبرامج التعاونية مع المنظمات الاقليمية والدولية الممائلة
